Las Vegas a scream for Australian Chippendale Ryan Stuart

Stuart, 33, is the first ever Australian to be part of the world famous Chippendales male dance troupe.

“Honestly the best part of my job is working with 11 really fun and hard working guys every night,” Stuart told Confidential after coming off stage Chippendales The Show in Las Vegas.

“I get to live and dance in Vegas, the epicentre of entertainment and nightlife. As Australians we always dream big, but I never thought I’d be working in the USA. Nor did I think I would ever be a Chippendale. “

Stuart has been part of the show for eight months, having previously dreamt of being a veterinarian before being swept up in the world of entertainment.”

He worked briefly as a model, including a shoot for Gucci, and toured the world in stage musicals like Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Rocky Horror Show and Anything Goes before auditioning for Chippendales.

“Performing for hundreds of screaming women is really fun,” he said of the show, which is marketed as the ultimate girls night out.

“The girls really get into the show. It’s not really work when you’re on stage and having a great time. It’s a really interactive show.”

Stuart strips down to not much in the famous production, which takes place nightly at Sin City’s Rio Hotel and Casino.

However, he is very clear he and his workmates aren’t stripping, they’re performing.

“The show has it’s own $10 million theatre, stage, lighting, boutique, sets, costumes and of course the hugest calibre of male review artists,” he said. “It’s a completely choreographed show from start to finish, catering to everyone’s fantasies. From Fire fighters to policemen, Officers and construction workers. There are also live musicians and singers in the show, and plenty of crowd participation.”
